Space is definitely small and not great flow when it gets busy - as mentioned in previous comments. However, the food and service are great! Fried chicken is very good, not sure how they get it to stay so crispy and fresh but I’ll take it. They also have mambo sauce, spicy ketchup, and hot sauce that go great with potatoes.
This place is great! Old school, plain fried chicken and sides. The chicken was cooked perfectly - juicy and not too oily. The breading was crisp and not too thick. The onion rings were good and the fried liver and gizzards were good. Only gripe is that the chicken is very plain. They serve a hot ketchup with the chicken that is bomb. They have bottles of Faygo for sale.
Fried Chicken is stellar, well seasoned, juicy and tasty. Even the chicken nuggets are yummy. It’s a very cramped spot, not much standing room so I would only recommend this for takeout or catering. I’ve had both and got rave reviews!!!
